What the HELL is a Mesomorph??



There are three types of bodies: The Ectomorph (very small), the Mesomorph (athletic and lean), and the Endomorph (larger and rounder). To determine which type you are, I suggest taking any quiz you can find on Google. I took the Bodybuilding.com Test
A mesomorph body is naturally lean and muscular. We gain muscle very easily and sustain it without much effort. Most of the time, this is awesome. But for a girl who loves to go out in a cute dress in heels, sometimes this body can feel a little too masculine. I’ve always wanted the slender legs and the pencil arms- but instead I’ve got 15-inch calves and broad shoulders. 
Mesomorphs also gain and lose weight easily. Sure, we have our trouble spots- who doesn’t? But what I mean is that if we keep to a diet for even a week, we’ll start seeing results. In the same way, if we splurge on a night out with drinks and dessert, we’ll see the consequences of that the next morning. 
Fitness experts describe the mesomorph body as the ideal body. We are what ectomorphs and endomorphs wish they were. This is very true, because with little effort, mesomorphs can create toned and beautiful bodies. However, the the tricky part is self-control and knowledge of oneself. The key to a perfect mesomorph body is moderation
Forget diehard restrictive diets. Stop trying to be an endomorph and accept that you will never be a stick figure. Likewise, forget binging and emotional indulging. Those slip ups will effect you the next morning. Instead, mesomorphs need to keep a healthy balance of everything. That means eating, indulging, and exercising in moderation. Too much exercise will build too much muscle, but a little bit will go a long way. Eating healthy and consistently will bring rapid results. 
Isn’t the part about losing weight easily kind of motivating? All we have to do is commit. So join me as I commit to the right diet for a mesomorph body.

  1. Yes please!! I have the same bodytype. Me and my friends have alweays been wondering why I was born with such a natural fit body? I just look like a crazy athletic person!

    I used to be really skinny, you could tell that I was skinny from the side, but I still looked pretty big from the front. Im begging you to update:)!! I need this.
